Mountain Parks Electric recently signed a 20-year agreement with Pivot Energy to purchase the power generated by 1.3 megawatt solar array that will be developed later this year. This agreement enables Mountain Parks Electric to save on wholesale power costs while also increasing their local renewable power supply.
The energy generated from the solar array is estimated to produce enough electricity for almost 300 homes, and is expected to cut costs for Mountain Park’s members.
